Embryology

I’ve wanted to delve deeper into embryology and teach myself topics that were skipped over during my undergraduate studies. This year at the 2019 Australian and New Zealand Association for Clinical Anatomists I was made aware of all the amazing free online resources that people were creating to help life long students learn even more. Embryology is an amazing area to study and hopefully I will start to understand the in-depth intricacies of foetal development over the next several months/years. I will be publishing on topics that I’m familiar with along with topics I will be learning for the first time.

Whether your’e studying science, medicine, health or just have a general interest in embryology I think its important to firstly understand how male and female gametes arise and mature; how they develop, move and how fertilisation takes places. Come join me as I delve into the very beginning starting with formation of sex cells and process of fertilisation!
